Steve, welcome aboard. Glad you signed up and will be a good read. As stated, the boat was purchased damaged from Storm Sandy and we brought her to CT for a refit.

When finished, this 35 will be pretty tricked out. Steve's ideas go pretty deep along with function.

Good luck with her and will definitely be a fish raiser.

Hi Steve! Congratulations- you bought the boat I never should have sold! Not much has changed since it was mine, I gave her a good once over when it was being auctioned. The owner changed the rudder, moved the generator back, which is no big deal, gained a little storage room and engine access. Besides that and the RP35 willis beal deacals, she was exactly as I sold her. I will tell you that I think the insulation in the slush tank was pretty wet, contributing unnecessary weight in the stern, but besides all that she was solid. I noticed too that someone had winterized the engine and generator, so hopefully she is turn key. Did you decide what to do with a rudder? That one was pretty un-aerodynamic, and bent to hell anyway. Are you related to the Jamaica - Bogans? Any way - Best of luck with her, if you have any questions give me a call 516 567-9060.

Welcome Steve! Nice project you have there. If you need a hand with any TIG welding, I would be glad to help. Good luck with her.

The rudder on the boat after the storm was steel, not stainless. That thing is costing you some speed, in my opinion. I have pictures, mostly involving dead fish though.

Just had a nice conversation with Steve. Super nice guy, he is going to take this boat to the next level. It will be awesome when he is done. Can't wait to see the pictures! Can you say wide? This is a vintage picture from the first season (1995). You knew they were big when they filled that tuna door. Two guys and a pot hauler to get that one in. And before any wise ass comments, no, that is not me on the transom.
