Curious,
I've noticed that some DE boats have a hole cut through the rudder to facilitate "easier" shaft removal.
I've seen holes uncovered and with zincs over the holes.
My question is does a "hole through the rudder" open or closed have any major negative effect in steering, speed performance, vibration, anything , etc. ????
Thanks, Bill D
