Shim material for leveling an antenna mount?

Mounting a backup antenna onto the hardtop - what's a better material for a shim than the epoxy covered cedar shingle I used on the last boat? It was certainly simple enough when I did it in 1998 and its still solid 15 years later.

I usually just add a few washers under one side.

Thanks guys for the obvious suggestion. 2 SS washers coming up! I'm trying to mount just aft of the handrail; the hardtop probably has a 20 degree angle at that spot.

Shakespeare makes shims, usually sold in the antenna aisle.
