Simnet to nmea 2000 connectio

I have a RI10 with simnet port need to connect to the NMEA 2000 drop cable tee. I bought a cable that goes from the simnet but the other end can only tie into the backbone side of the tee. Does it matter if I’m tied into the bull or the run side of the tee???
States “ invalid radar”
Radar works fine, but can’t get the overlay on a Gen 2HDS.
Not showing Radar status for overlay. I have the Percsion 9 compass connected.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Hey John,

Do you know which SimNet adapter you got? It should be 24005729, and then you connect a NMEA2000 cable from the adapter to the tee, the 'bull' port. You then have to make sure you select the radar source for overlay and make sure you have the Precision 9 set as a Compass data source.

Thank you, I believe I have the wrong cable, need the male end to tie into the bull of the tee. I’ll get the cable you recommended.
