I am looking at a re-fit/re-power Sisu 22. It is a straight inboard.
It has a new Mercruiser Bluewater 350. I was wondering what you all thought about the power match. I have not seen one that is IB that was not diesel. Is this possibly over powered?

Thank you,

ST

I have one with a new 350 in it .When i bought the boat it had a flywheel forward 327 in it went pretty good 18 to 22 knots but motor was shot, when i took it apart it had a hole in one piston had to start it with starting fluid .It did not do it with the old motor but i think it will get a little squirrelly (keel walk) with the power i have in it now plan to just run slower but have a lot of power in reserve . I think it will be very economical on fuel. It does not take much to push it. I am just trying to figure it out as i go.

Thanks for the feedback. Is your boat a straight inboard?
