Seals have moved in heavy on our local reefs, seems the season is winding down. Hopefully our annual Thanksgiving trip yields better results...Spotted this boat while out, look familiar CEShawn ?

We had the same results on Emily Rose on Sat, except we got no keepers.

New moon right now is keeping them deep, Thanksgiving should heat up as long as the weather holds.

I got a good pic of Shawn's old General Marine too, I'll post it up tonight when I get home.

Jack's boat is on the hard, all covered up. Love that guy! Honored to have him on my Boat. Had Jack, Artie & Matthew on that trip, Father, Son, & grandson....& would'nt ya know, Matt (11yr old) got the only keeper & took the pool................

MDI, does the moon affect the current as much on your side of the island as it does on ours?? Seems they get lock jaws around the moons when the tide is ripping this time of year.

I would say the bite definitely slows down on the moon (full or new) but i guess with a 20 kt north east blow also....they shut off

Ya last weekend fished black point and 2 tree had 3 keepers 50 shorts
