I guess I should qualify "smallest." I guess it could mean shortest or lightest. I'm guessing the one above is probably around 1200lbs + the 40hp motor. The one below is probably 600lbs + 25hp motor. But also not a DE. I guess I'll take either.

That looks more like a canoe. What's the length to beam ratio? 6:1? 8:1?

And gas mileage? 10 - 12 mpg?

It is. I'm guessing it's a Nor-west Arctic. 24'x5'8" (L/B 4.25:1) I think 10mpg is within the realm of possibility

The boat below was 28ft. According to the owner, on another forum, it would do 11 knots at 3/4 gallon an hour (over 16mpg) with a 25hp 4S. And 20 knots WOT.

I’m in love
Anyone know what the story is on this one
David J Smith Boats. The one pictured is owned by Harold Mackay. I messaged him on Facebook to see if he was interested in selling and got no response.

I bought a boat off him in March for a 16 footer he will stretch and lengthen the 14 footer guy does awesome work and is easy to deal with long ways from home but worth the trip. Very happy with mine.

Not the smallest but the smallest worth having with a cabin are the 22 General Marine, 22 Coombs Cove ( webbers cove) , and 23 Crowley Beal. they all have their proportions right and are big little boats. Its hard ot built a top on a small boat with at least 6'2" headroom and make it look right.. all these boats looks right
