I'm passing this info along for the guys who might be debating the choice of dripless vs traditional on there next reshaft/repower.
I'll be using the SMX shaft seal in my "virtual DE build" when the time comes.
"SMX Custom Shaft Packings -- Fully re-machined to much higher accuracies than the factory supplied "very rough" castings, 100% pure Teflon packing, SS grease fitting and pre-run thru 3-5 "HOT-COLD" run-in cycles at 1800 shaft RPM-----------------Ready to install & GO !!"
