This is the harbor in Cordova,Ak i used to fish out of here. They had 80" of snow in december and are off to a good start this year with 10" yesterday and more on the way.

The blue tarp saves some work but must be hard to hold in the wind.Some of hose boats have 3 levels to clear off.No snow here in Maine.

Here's how it looks in the summer

That winter harbor is quite empty, most of the gillnetters are on trailers getting squashed under the snow load, during the early summer red & king salmon gillnet fishery there are 500 gillnetters in that harbor, you can count the sportfishing boats on 2 hands.We grill those beautiful Copper River red sockeye salmon almost every night for dinner.

Don't get me wrong last year was a good year but it certainly wasnt incredible. People have been saying the same thing to me all year. It only snowed for 6 weeks. Feb and march there was nada.

Don't get me wrong last year was a good year but it certainly wasnt incredible. People have been saying the same thing to me all year. It only snowed for 6 weeks. Feb and march there was nada.

Last year was just above average. and yes a lot of people made a big deal about it, but it all came from dec 27th till end of jan.
I consider 200 hrs per truck a good year. Much rather 20 10hr storms rather than the 20-24 hr storms we got last jan.
Have had trucks on with either my town or the state of Ma. since the early 1980s so I'm used to the drill

Just got done installing mine today.. not gonna go over how many hours it took all said and done..but its on..just aligning the pump belts correctly for the first time on a new install takes a couple hours..just need a job now.
