Floundah is correct sir, in addition some nice keeper cod can be taken off any of the very close by ledges right out of The Habah in early spring. Get your bait down with 4 oz to 6 oz. Any jig with some bait on it works or just clam with weight, bounce it around is the key for them to find it.

Spring Boston harbor

Plenty of different fish to catch in the spring.
March & April head out to any of the outer ledges from 21 can, BF bouy, Minots, Thieves, Graves, B bouy, BG bouy, NC can.... You can find some cod.
Most of those ledges will hold harbor pollock, Sculpin and maybe an occasional haddock.
Bass start showing 2nd-3rd week of may and by memorial day weekend it's game on !
Find the mackerel and you will find the bass.
Early may start south and eventually north as the month goes and gets into june.
Flounder are around usually until july. and the last few years more & more black sea bass & some fluke have been showing up.

any ledge works and decent depth finder really helps. Between Graves and Thieves are many that produce OK, I fish south so other hit I am sure of it too. On good days any ledge around the "B" can really pay off. Bouncing the bait/lure off the bottom makes a big difference. Called Jig'n for cod for a reason I guess. Go big on the bait or jig to get bigger ones.
