But it sure nice to work on the boat with the doors open and not have to run the heat

No.

Been plowing state or town roads since I was 18 (49 now)
I've plowed in April 3 or 4 times in those years.
Besides. I drive a 4 cyl Ranger daily with the cost of gas.
