Just a little curious if anyone else feels like this. What is the deal with Starboard, is it all the same?

Funny but the stuff I get at West Marine seems to stain so easily and unable to get it out. Yet when I get something premade, a door, cup holder etc, it always seems to resist stains or cleans up better. Just curious if its coated or true starboard. I swear when I buy it at West marine it says Starboard but not having to rethink it.

Funny but I see two listed at Jamestown, XL and Starlite or something... Then can't find anything on the West Marine site...

Anyone else feel like this?

Thanks

I have used a product called Seaboard sold at Hamilton Marine. In my experience, this material doesn't stain as easily as the real stuff and has a more "textured" facing that I like. You might give it a try!
