I need some ideas for a steering ram base.I do have this bracket and its all wrong. It bolts between the stringers and its a pain in the ass.I had to remove it as I jumped the gun and didnt check before laying down my floor. The ram is 3 inches lower than my tiller arm. There is no play and I want the ram to be level with the arm.Can anyone post some pics of their ram install? I need some ideas.I get the bonehead award today!

The ram is made by Aurora. Its a beefy ram and Iv just bought a seal kit for it so I want to keep. Here is a pic of the ram and bracket. The ram has to be mounted on the vertical. It is driving me crazy, looking for something that I can make to make access easy, yet be strong enough to handle the load.I should have given this more thought,I didnt even think about it.I guess you learn from your mistakes. To get the bracket out I had to cut a hole in my floor, sucks but ohwell its only the floor.Putty and paint will make it what it aint.
