Any one ever heard of putting stp oil treatment on prop before seasonal launch, supposed to keep the prop free of growth ?
And size of de boat, is it the length of the boat, beam or a combination of both with hull type that make a de so seaworthy ? If the rule is 3 ft of length for each ft of beam, is a 12 ft beamed boat at 31 feet long as seaworthy as a 36 ft boat with a 12 ft beam ? Is it not true that all DE type boats are semi- displacement hulls whether built down or skeg ?
