Viking 43 SOLD, now looking to DE
I have looked at a few of the well thought of builders, some of whom post here and noticed a difference in the use of stringers and bulkheads.

It looks as if some finishers lay full length stringers in the hull then add bulkheads, and some start with the bulkheads and add stringers before laying the deck. Does it matter? The production boats i hVe owned do the first method, which seems the most common among DE boats too. Just curious.

I may have totally mis read this too, just curious.

stringers/bulkheads

We have always run the stringers in first, full length if possible. This has the benefit of spreading out the load and stresses of the drive train. It also lessens the hull from oil canning. Bulkheads help prevent the hull's twisting and add watertight integrity in event of a collision or situation where you take on water

Are you asking about hull stringers during hull layup like in the 1st picture or deck joists to hold up the deck like in the 2nd picture.
