Dropped the skiff in the upper Hudson River/Champlain Canal near Schulyerville NY and went 30 miles out and back. Beautiful day but a little cloudy and chilly. A big thermos of coffee and another of clam chowder kept us warm.
Had the river all to ourselves except for a few barges and a low flying seaplane that scared the living shit out of us when it took off from a an adjacent backwater over our bow.
