Looking to outfit my new (to me) 25' Alyward with a multi screen unit, I priced online at the discount marine electronics centers, I then called Chris after reading this thread. He pretty much matched or beat what I had priced elsewhere. Plus I got to talk to someone that knew what he was selling. He didn't push anything on me, I was kinda set on Si-tex. I talked to Chris last Wednesday afternoon, the brown truck delivered the Sitex EC11, radar dome and and accessories. Also talked with Ted at Si-tex and he too was more than helpful. Both were patient,listened to all my ??'s and answered so I could understand. Thanks to both.

Thanks for the plug, Otter. Good to see you're posting on the forum, too. I must say the Alyward 25 you picked up is a beautiful boat, I just wish I could afford something along those lines. Just keep in mind any questions you have be sure to give me a shout, and if it is something I can't diagnose over the phone, both Ted and Allen are ready and willing to help. Great crew over at Si-Tex, only company I know that when you call, you will have one of the co-owners pick up the telephone. Always nice to have a human being answer instead of an automated machine where you need to press 8 numbers just to get in line to sit and wait for a person to pick up.
