Because I respect the quality craftsmanship of so many in this community of builders, I feel it necessary to acknowledge for those that may or may not know him, but a very well known boat finisher in my area who passed away this past week and he will be missed by many in his community for the quality work he has done. RIP Wes Lash of Friendship ME.

Sorry to hear about that... was he still building boats or was he older and retired from building?
He was still finishing boats, in fact him and his son worked with Hutchinson's to finish "Knock Out". He wasn't as busy as he would have liked to have been, but then again, a lot of people aren't as busy as they were 10 years ago.
