Put a couple guys in the tower, big wake, vessel at cruise, I could see it.

I remember a 31 BHM rolling over near Sesuit in the mid 1980's, this same scenario. Three full grown men in a very tall tower, took a wake on the beam and over they went. That is a ride I don't ever want to take!

What a shame though, that's a beautiful boat, or was...

Beautiful boat! Big tower nice moment arm! Maybe if I slimmed up I could get on a stick boat or go and stay in the bilge like the engineer I am and act as ballast.

Yup thats her. prettiest 32 holland around, real unfortunate what happend. I also heard it was a boat wake that rolled her over. Tim greer sold it 3-4 years ago, I dont know who the new owner is!!
Tower is beautiful but just to dam high for a boat that is already tippy.

Responsible for wake yes, however if they had a bunch of peopel in tower I would not think it would stand a chance in a court of law. Thank God they were rescued. Let's see one plane down, one stick boat down so what will be next.

That Piscataqua river has some serious current !
My 28 Seaworthy spent it's 1st 7 years at the yacht club under the bridge, mostly being washed & waxed on a weekly basis.

I dont think that anyone is taught ...you are responsible for your WAKE anymore.....Iam out six or seven days a week on the south shore of Long Island and 9 out of 10 people have no COURTESY towards other boaters.This is a sore subject with me...If it's not marked 5 mph... 9 out of 10 of these assholes will fly right by you within 20 feet...i have a big boat but it still gets rocked ....and there are alot of rental skiffs out in the bay and those poor guys are taking there lives in there hands...There should be a mandatory course....not just hand these idiots the keys and say go as fast as you want

Every seen a wake a 65+ ft Viking sport fish makes coming out of a confined inner harbor like Boston Harbor, and they are doing 30+ kts ?
