thickness of mat layup

So aprox how thick will one layer of wet out mat be when it kicks ?? I need to know this so i can figure how short to make my panels so they still fit. Should i just figure a 1/8" and call it good? I don't want to lay up the panels for the split house and find out they are to big to fit after i'm done glassing them.

around a sixteenth of an inch
One layer of mat is a pain to do though, I would suggest two layers. Just makes things easier, especially if you're on a narrow edge. You can always router your edges to make them round, that would help as well.

Yup i know i have to round over all the edges for the mat to go around them.
