My boat is unfinished down forward so sunday i cobbled together a couple of storage shelves, plywood, handful of screws, a few gussets, some shrimp pot wire and a hot glue gun . All just temporary but it will give me a idea of what how i need to finish off the boat so the small space is functional.
I know they are crude but they'll do for now

threw in a rod holder while i was at it

went back down after dinner and built these ghetto drawers to store my cooking stuff in, they hang under my makeshift bunk

Wife had me doing garden work for half the day on monday so i didn't get any boat work done till this afternoon, worked on tightening up the winter back and fold up side by the hauler, finished up the wood butchering project this evening after dinner, finished off under the bunk/drawers with a bin board just to hold/stash some extra junk in. Nice part of living in alaska is this time of year it doesn't get dark till almost midnight, the last picture of my boat was taken at 10:50pm no flash.

catch all storage under bunk

Great use of the pot wire mesh! Nothing ghetto about the work and install.

When does your boating season start up there?

It is almost June 1st, doesn't it start snowing a couple months from now ?

Bill,
The guys have been fishing, shrimping and bear hunting since the middle of april. I've still have customers coming for shrimp gear so i need to stick around my shop but i'm going to try and get the boat wet next week. Our snow usually flies by Halloween so i've got some time to get out and have some fun.
