Okay question for the smartphone owners on here...

I'm in Boston area and looking for a good app to download that'll show me the tides...I know SeaTow's got a tide predictor but are there any other good ones?

I like the curvy-thing that shows me where we are on a tide...
Are there any good widgets that can be used as well?

tide chart free

I have a droid phone and use " tide chart free". Works good, has the curve, and allows you to save multiple ports.....and the price is right.

Tide Graph on my iPhone. It has the curvy graph and is good everywhere. I think it was free, iv been using it for several years now.

I run NOAA Buoy Data app / it's free ... the IRS already charged me for it.

Tide stations, Buoy data, moon phases. very easily you can set it up for favorites. Gives the wavey tide chart too.

The only NOAA App I could find is $1.99. Not much money but could you confirm the name Free is always better

JK - NOAA Buoy Data Reader by Verona Solutions was free when I got it in 2010 when it first came out ... things must've have changed. I'm not big on buying apps and never have, but for $ 1.99 I would buy this one unless there is something else out there that is comparable

For weather radar loops I use Radar Now ... free version is pretty darned good and they just upgraded it too.

I think you are correct. I use Hi-Def Radar and downloaded it for free. Now it is $1.99. I will stick with US Tide for the time being but I think the days of free apps is numbered.
