how about a thread where " TOOLS " are listed. For example, the impeller pullers in recent thread. where to buy? who's is best? home made? etc.
naturally they should be germain to boats.

Tools for removing a Cummins 6BTA after cooler from engine.

15mm,13,10 wrenchs

small phillips head screw driver

5/16 socket screw drive (clamp removal)

"and some muscle" to wrestle the hoses off the fittings.

btw, the hoses come off like butter "IF" you used a flexible pipe sealant like

Rectorseal #5 when you re-assembled last service. ;)

I slobber Rectorseal #5 on EVERY raw water and anti freeze fluid connections....rubber to metal clamped hose connections and threaded metal to metal inserts like zincs and temp switches.

Excellent sealant, doesn't dry out and doesn't isolate electrical grounds on threads.
