Transducer choices

I have been redoing a sisu 22 and am trying to figure out what degree transducer I will need. Any ideas 12 or 20 degree

Not sure what you are asking.
12 or 20 degree angle of the hull for where you plan to install or beam width the transducer.
I'm guessing angle of your hull.
Go to Home depot or Lowe's and but a cheap angle finder like this

I would say zero degree if you are talking tilted element.

Tilted element transducers come in different angle ranges.
I just installed a wide angle 20 degree tilted element in my BHM.
Spot I installed was mid ship 17 degrees, 20 degree tilted was the one for my situation.

I put a 20 degree in my Parker. But I thought the sisu would be more flat aft so it really depends on where he is installing.

I want to try and install with out using fairing block, how do I get the hull angle for what I believe is a tilted elimant

Try using an angle indicator

Just be sure to level your vessel first, be embarrassing if it was off five degrees...

What you got for a sounder ?
Matching your fishing needs and typical water depths you fish can make a big difference on which transducer you should install.

Raymarine RL80C. I also have a 36 Harris and am building the Sisu with my old man mostly for commercial bass fishing and morring work. On the Harris I have a FCV 1100 and used a fairing block with transducer but I would like to be able to trailer the boat so a flush setup on the sisu would be ideal
