Any recommendations for a new transducer? My boat is hauled out and I'd like to replace the existing one.

Depends,I installed the raymarine axium on my t Jason ,went to defender marine and bought the transducers one for each side of the keel, had to figure out the rise to get the right eye for a 30 degree spread it was a pain in the ass but the images are so clear I’m real happy with that unit

Go with a flush mount if you can. While I have never had a transducer hit anything, I know of someone that did. Snapped it off, and sank the boat!!

The 3D transducers almost flush mount, doubt it would ever come off hauling gear but I guess if you drove over rocks it would come off, google it and you’ll see they are impressive and pricey 1300 for the pair
