Tripp Angler 27

Does any one know anything about this boat Tripp Angler 27 I can't find much on them, it looks like the same hull as a Royal Lowell coastal hardtop 27 but I'm. not sure 2000 Tripp Angler Sportsman 27 Power Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com

1987 COASTAL Hard Top Power Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com if these are the same hull design what time of ride and handling could you expect? any info would be appreciated.

I am not sure of the hull on the Tripp But I believe the Coastal is the 27 Nauset Hull.

Yes, I believe that they are all from the same mold. Tripp ended up with the Coastal 24 which is now the Tripp 24. The Tripp 27 was the Coastal 27. Both originated at Nauset, and were designed by Royal Lowell. I have not ridden on one to comment about the ride personally, but I hear good and bad about them. The owner of a 27 Nauset told me that it was fantastic in head sea, rolls a little bit beam to, and gets pushed around a bit in a following sea. But it wasn't nearly bad enough to prevent him from buying a second one that he fished commercially. Another forum member purchased his old one as a project.
