Tuna in RI & NY

I have confirmed reports that Bluefin are chowing on herring and macks off RI and Montauk. They are answering the dinner bell when the haul back begins. Hard to believe in Feb. But if the bait is there it is chow time. I worked some trips when I was in HS and once the haul back starts they show up like a pack of dogs!!! I know 2 fish over 250 were caught thus week and they were seen in to busting bait in quite a few spots!!!

Put a couple baits out and keep framing. I'm sure you could use a change of scenery by now. lets just hope there is some herring left around come june 1.
