TWIC Requirements changing

I actually "parked" mine under continuity when all the Twic stuff was going on because I didn't want to deal with it, plus I wasn't using it because I was working on my 2nd Masters Degree.


Now maybe the time to re-up and maybe start chartering again now that I have just a little free time in the summer. And TWIC is out of the way.

So my last 5 year lic renewal I got the newer red Passport book lic with the twic card as park of the book.
No change with the lic and next renewal they won't pic the twic info & pic ?

I clip mine on when I go to restaurants, get seated without having to wait in line and always get the pretty waitresses

i asked a coast gaurd officer if he needed to see my twic card..he said whats that......what a joke

Same here got boarded and they never asked for it!
