Sorry… sappy corny moment here. I got this picture from my wife today. I got to say… I am some proud to call these two my kids. So happy they can just sit and enjoy this world. No tablets, phones or that junk. I often finish the day with thoughts of stuff I didn’t get done. Who I forgot to email, what I didn’t get done. I need to remember to STOP. Just sit… and look… and be content.

And you worked on your kid’s bedroom instead of your project boat recently. Sure sign of a head screwed on forwards IMO. Enjoy while they are little.

As long as we are being sappy corny, enjoy these moments now. Work and life get hectic, I worked 2 jobs while my kids were little and them being young goes by quickly. My 4 are now 22-29 years old and the baby just graduated this past Saturday. Here’s my wife and I with 3 of my “little” ones.

Mass Maritime grad Jerry, it’s a fully regimental school . She didn’t enlist (still possibility) but is going to sea as an engineer. Still crazy proud of her. She’s worked her tail off, I just can’t believe how fast the last 20 years buzzed by.

Congratulations
I’ve got my younger son that has 1 more year left @ Ma Maritime (facilities engineer)
He’s working the summer at a power plant a few towns over from my town. Older son also went there (marine engineer)
He’s been on an oil tanker 2 years now (2nd engineer lic now)

Glad to see your daughter got a graduation ceremony.
My older son lost out because of the China Flu.
Younger son was supposed to graduate a semester or 2 early because he was taking advanced classes but the China Flu took care of that also.
