1978 Sisu 22 with an 80HP Nissan SD33 diesel. I’ve owned the boat for three years and the boat is cosmetically and mechanically in pretty nice shape. I’d rate it a 7/10 but most others would rate it higher. I found the boat in a potato field on eastern Long Island in pretty neglected shape and decided I had to have it and brought to my house on the Outer Banks. There is a long list of things that were improved or upgraded and the boat has proven to be reliable. The engine starts easily and does not smoke. The engine box, cushions, and the aluminum pilothouse windows were all professionally made for this boat. Engine hours are unclear, but the hobbs indicated 1588 when I got it and I have put about 200 hours in three summers. The boat cruises at 12 statute and tops at 18 with a tailwind. It burns about 2 gph at cruise.

I bought a new aluminum dual axle Venture trailer($4,100) in 2010 for the boat but have never taken it anywhere and it has less than 150 miles on it. The interior is basically unfinished with a wood seat to starboard and the anchor locker forward. It is painted, but otherwise unfinished. I have other photos and there are a couple youtube videos if you search under Sisu 22 Outer Banks. The boat is located on the Northern Outer Banks near Kitty Hawk and is in the water for the summer. $17,500. Please feel free to call me at 703.963.3663 if you have any questions or would like any other information.

Classic boat! I love it and I think the next owner will love her too. Good luck with the sale.
