My Duffy cruiser would show a bowsprit blocking the horizon. Since I anchor 90% of the time, I can't do without the convenience of a readily deployable anchor/windlass, but I've often dreamed of a pipe-based setup that would project horizontal to the waterline rather than the upward angle of the bow.
I'm short, 5'4, so running angle is a pretty big deal to me, HA i can barely see over the dash as it is! My buddies 35 young bros rides WAY bow high, when shes steaming I cant see anything to the port side of the bow. That was a big selling point for the new boat, when she got going it was almost flat, visibility was awesome. Hopefully ill get some pictures of it running this summer. Heres a picture of the young bros.
