Walker Airsep

I am considering replacing the stock air filter on my Volvo D6 370 with a Walker Airsep drop in replacement. I am not trying to save $, but if there is a 2 - 3 year pay back ( I use one filter per yer) and a reasonable performance improvement perhaps it is a good choice.

Does anyone have any experience to share? Also wondering where to purchase.

If the air filter housing for the D6 is the same as a TAMD 63p it could be $900.00-1000.00. I have a 63P and thats what the cost is for one of those.Hope this helps.

They are alot louder than a paper filter.I think NAPA sells the ones that deere uses

I put one on my old Cat 3116 and it was a bit expensive about $650. I don't think I got any performance improvements but it did keep the engine space cleaner by routing the vapors back to the crank and the turbo silencer was the best part as it really made a big improvement in knocking down the turbo wine. Overall I was happy with the system but the cost hurt a bit.

My system is already setup to filter for the engine and the turbo...

And has a separate filtration system for the crank case...

I had a Racor CCV 4500 crankvent on my 41P volvo, worked great & a lot cheaper than the airsep. I also replaced the air filter with a K&N filter that worked great also.
