28 inch what? We need diameter and pitch to try and help you out.

28 inch diameter - prop can be repitched. I think pitch on my prop is between 26 and 28, forgot. It's going to take a few shots pulling boat in and out to get RPMs right with prop.

Just so you are aware it is not recommended to re-pitch a prop especially Nibral more than 2 inches from original.

John Hutchins who made hull says he thinks I can get another knot maybe two with a good 3 blade nibral. I have a four blade bronze - I cruise at 19.5-20.5 knots at 2125 RPMS at 14 gallon per hour with a Volvo 500. Max RPM is 2600 RPMs. The boat is impressive just tweaking it now - I have no vibration with a four blade, hoping 3 blade will run smooth enough. I want speed - what do you think?

I've had 3/4/5's on my 36 and the boat is fastest with the three. Smoothest with the five.

you're different.. you like breaking stuff in the need to find more speed:mrgreen:

Nothing wrong with being different

I've had my nibral tweaked severely, repitched multiple times far exceeding what is recommended with no failures or any changes in the blades trying to go back to the original "set".

Thinking about having a wee bit more done to it. It is much lighter than the war club backup propeller, but I don't know if it will cleave through a seal with the same tenacity...
