If it floats we will be glad to work on it.
Anybody in the southern Maine area run into the issue of people not picking up waste oil. We have people that say the will come or call back and never do? Any feed back would help.

I assume you are talking about people taking it to burn in their waste oil furnace.
I had a hell of a time finding someone to take about 200 gallons that we had at my work's shop. We ended up talking to cleanharbors, and Enpro.
Enpro claimed that they send all their oil to Maine to get processed, cleanharbors just sucks the oil out of your container and leaves the container. The price difference was insane, over $500 for Enpro, and only $75 for cleanharbors

They are environmental cleanup companies, so thats their business.
I know people with waste oil furnaces in their garages, but our barrels weren't strickly motor oil, so no one wanted to touch them and risk breaking their furnaces.
These barrels have been in our shop for at least 20 years, collecting god knows what, apparently antifreeze and stuff messes with the burners or something?

I have a buddy who owns the Sunoco station in Sanford, ME...he takes waste oil to burn. I've also brought it to Wal-Mart...they take it for free.
