There are two different hulls that could be called a 40 webbers cove. One was used for a navy launch and is narrower than the one produced for a lobster boat.I would stay away from the navy launch. There are a couple of the 40's aroung here,I don't think they are bad boats, but I have never been on them. One tows a 8 foot scallop drag, and has for a lot of years.

Thanks traditions, I'm looking at lobster work boats so it must be the lobster hull (13ft beam).
Anyone else have any opinions/info on the 40' webbers cove?

all lot of the surplus hulls were built into commercial rigs, do your homework so you don't get one of the rollers.
