I came across this video

Andthought it would be an interesting discussion.. growing up and still today we take a 6x6 and Put it across the bow and jack the boat up with a bottle nose jack and a hockey puck until we can slide the 6x6 under the bow.. then on each side of the 6x6 we jack it up say 6” at a time and keep moving thejack from side to side until we get it high enough topull the trailer out.. the guy above does it a simpler way if you ask me and a lot less ballsy..

Then I saw a pic online of this guy who puts the boat on stands in the back and then has a huge gantry with a chain fall and he just puts the chain through the bow eye with some blocks so it doesn’t hit the boat and lifts it up and pulls the trailer out.. simple..

I have done my 22 Novi OB many times like the Lou Sauzedde video of that Tripp Angler.
Two Brownell stands under transom, block and bottle jacks forward and two Brownell stands up forward port and starboard as I work the trailer out, just in case. I do not attach my hitch. No need if you are careful, but it is safer, as he suggests. If you are not confident of where the weight lies in your hull or the balance, Brownell actually makes a rig you can buy in a kit to do exactly what you described, Bill, with the long 6x6... only theirs is steel and adjustable.

Two gantries that straddle the boat. Recently rolled the 23' DE hull over with the same gantries.

We've done it with jack stands or foam blocking in the back and a tractor or excavator in the front. A buddy has the brownell BL1 stands for his business, makes real short work of getting a boat on and off the trailer.

Saw those not cheap at all but if you are doing it everyday I’m sure it’s worth it

This is the ~$800.00 Alternative Brownell makes for the 6x6" and blocking I suggested in my earlier post
It says it can span a 103" width trailer. It would make the process faster, if you did it a lot. Easier than moving all the blocking and bottle jack around too.
