I never see any postings about Albins on this site. I see them well represented on other forums. Is it because they are more of a mass produced boat?

Must be the marketing department again... From their website: "Albin represents downeast-style cruising at its best... " I've seen them out of the water, and never really thought about the partial keel. I do like the layout of the Tournament Express, more of a family friendly weekender that can still fish well.

I know the bridge on the 32+2 opens up a lot of room in the salon, but I wouldn't want that to be my only option in colder climates with the canvas enclosure up-top.

you looking to upgrade ? the albin family are good boats, but if your hardcore skeg guy then you need to keep looking about. BTW all advertisements of boats with pilot houses are labeled into the DE category for some reason

Thanks, that's a neat looking boat that would satisfy the admiral and crew!

I'm not looking to upgrade this year, just thinking (posting) out loud. I've said in other threads that my pocket downeaster is getting a bit small for more than the four of us. My kids will be 6 & 8 this month.

Here are a couple of pictures from last summer. Bringing in the mackerel on Dora and Spongebob poles :D.
