What is the meaning of your username ?

Good question....my wife and often commercial fishing partner before i retired suggested I go by my current user name. My wife's name is Liz but she sometimes refers to herself in the third person as Betty. I couldn't think of a user name when I joined DEBF. She suggested "Betty Loves Fishing" so I went with it because I didn't want to strain my brain.

Regretting soon after,I choose that user name, I couldn't figure out how to change it.

Bill, if you read this post would you please give me instruction on how to change my user name. I think the user name is to goofy.

Had a deckhand from El Salvador, his name was Carlos. His broken english comments about the guy that ran the company we worked for: "He tinks eez such a Gene-e-us"... Hence, "Genius".

Came from my first DE semidisplacement hull project which is still underway. The wife already had Amazing Grace the trawler (sold a few months ago), and Graceful (Herreshoff Rozinznte for sale) named after here and this boat had no name yet, so thought it was a Cool Boat anyway. One day I hope to find out its lineage/maker. Did you guess the wife's name yet?
