The reason I asked is that I'm sometimes confused on what boat you are working on ?
Do have a DE project going too?
I wish, no i work on mass produced junk in my free time.
You know, those older Bertrams (I owned a 1977 28 FBC for 17 years) were pretty good for a mass produced boat !!![]()
Yeah they are not to bad, based where i am we are littered with luhrs and silverton.
There ya go !!!
had Lewmar ocean hatches on a sailboat - sailed 50,000 ocean miles never a leak
i have the one pc aluminum Bomars....nothing to crumble....
Iam sorry i misunderstood....i bought a few used Bomar 190 cast alum hatches...and they had poly carb in them.... but i took one to a local auto glass shop and had them rebed with safety glassSo i presume it does not have lexan / polycarb center section
they have plastic in them and they are crazed but you can still jump on them and they are 12 years old 8 of which were in the tropics.did you have any problems with cracking or hazing ?
Not to be a dick but what's made in America anymore ?yeah ? they are made in china ? you sure ?.
