Are you looking for one with wheel and steering valve with buggy top. And how quick do you need it.

Thanks for the links- My aluminum fabricator will be building the pipe bridge for me, and I'm thinking I might do the entire thing out of aluminum (including the control box). Looking through those pictures gave me some good ideas.

I don't know why the Last Mango has a chunk of spray rail missing? I thought that was a little odd.

Brian, look at the link above and go into the towers section. My boat is listed in there before I took the tower off and added the bridge. Is the lower helm area control box what you are looking for?

I noticed your boat in there. I'm looking for the white control box where the wheel and controls mount. I'm assuming a new one is pretty spendy and still may not be layed out like I want it. That's why I'm thinking of having my aluminum guy also fab up the helm control box. That way I can get the curve, visor, and helm layout just the way I like it. And it would probably look a little better if it was all built with aluminum.

Well it's your lucky day, I have that box behind my garage waiting for a new home. It's yours we just gotta figure out how to get it to you. And yes it's aluminum and built very well, could probably use a new powder coat job but I haven't looked at in about 2 years. I didn't scrap it because I figured someone would need it some day.

Anyone heading to Missouri that has room in there trunk?:D That's a super nice offer of you, but before we figure out how to ship it, could you email me some pics at your convenience? I really don't need it until next April so there is no hurry, but that would be great if it will work for me. And being that it's aluminum, I can mod it, if need be. I have travel plans this winter to the east coast, but it will be to Florida, not New York. Thanks!

Thanks for all the help guys. I found another place that sells control boxes for a "reasonable" price, but I'm hoping Tuna's control box will work for me.

Small Control Box - Birdsall Marine Store

Steve- not a small tophouse, but a pipe bridge, or more commonly called a tuna tower. My "salmon tower" will be used for spotting jumpers.;)

Drawing of my 38 Wesmac- the blue lines represent aluminum. The wash rails, rub rail, and railing will be aluminum, along with the ladder and pipe bridge.

Hi Brian,
Yeah i know your doing a pipe bridge but maybe a nice warm dry small tophouse, maybe removable, bolts on over the pipework??, might be nice on those rainy blowy days when running for another line set.
Nice offer of Tuna's on the box, grab the box and even if you can't use it as is maybe you can use it for a mold to lay up a fiberglass box and adapt that?? I'm planning on getting my boat home this weekend and then i can start with my split house project, hope to get it done before it gets to cold. We been having tons of rain here, Seward is flooding and the Kenai is right at flood stage. You must be moving right along on the new boat we're all waiting for pictures of the project(hint). Say hello to dad from me.

Its dirty but in good shape, once you make it fit i would repowdercoat it. The bottom pipe comes off with a few bolts. It's 48 inchecs wide. Origianlly had a kobelt control and hyro slave steering unit.
