Who for prepaid wireless?

Anyone playing around with prepaid wireless?

I will be needed to get a wireless account going, haven't had one in about 5 years or so. I just want it for my laptop, used to have Verizon but not sure that is the best route anymore. I sort of like the idea of keeping it to Tmobile/Virgin etc, something that can be just off the shelf.

Anyone sporting these? I will be right in a big city in a sense, so connection should be fine.

I don't know about prepaid wireless, but I do know that within my workplace I have good coverage with Verizon, and my colleagues with AT&T and US Cellular have no signal.

"can you hear me now" seems to hold true outside of work too. This is in Maine for what it's worth.

See that is the same way I feel, as I have Verizon for everything else and had their service once. Probably a lot being said just saying that Mousetrap... Thanks...

Verizon great on land for reception but I wish I had AT&T on the water.

Went on BOS to Bermuda cruise two weeks ago...had a signal well over 100-150 miles out (of course, there's Nantucket out there) on the deck five (Imagine the aluminum and steel it had to go through).

Yeah, its prepaid. No bells and whistles Verizon flip phone all beat to hell from opening beer bottles.

would like to know more about prepay...At&t is getting out of hand..200 bucks a month for 2 phones...freaking rip off

VZW is buy the phone...buck a day unlimited VZW to VZW all other calls ten cents a minute same for text messages...the best part is if ye sink them they can be replaced for twenty bucks!

And if ye attach to a CC, every twenty bucks they reup you automatically, they tack on another two bucks...its not a bad deal.
