It seems like First Team and many others love the races be is running or spectating/drinking beer etc. Why dont we have a section dedicated to them specifically?

Where race guys can chat it up. Members can find all the info, dates and times of races. Photos and videos etc.

I asked because I searched around the web and there is little to no info that I could find. Infact lobsterboatracing.com is a dead website. Might bring a lot of members if there was a section with sub sections where people could get bolth racer and spectator info etc

Thanks for the suggestion. The forum has had the topic discussed before and is definitely a good idea but I don't think there is enough content to justify a whole sub forum for. If things change and it becomes a popular topic I would be more than happy to edit the forum. Once again Thanks for the suggestion, the feedback is always appreciated!

Thats still not a fixed place to find scheduling, results, pics, gossip, tech and a list of actual rules per class and such. Its just a news paper. A lot of us only get a glimpse as this racing when somone posts a random pic or a video here.

Maine Coastal News is THE place for everything racing.

And not just because Jon, who makes the paper, is the president of the MLBRA (Maine Lobster Boat Racing Association).

Just is updated as the issues come out, but all of the facts are in there. Not like the other papers, which have varying degrees of accuracy...

Also produces CD's of all the photos taking through the season, and reasonably priced. I like the ones with the black boats in them, not sure why that is...
