Wilbur 34

I'm looking at an '84 Wilbur 34 with a '99 Yanmar 420. Any comments on boat or engine? Is 420 hp on the upper end for this block?

So this is the 6LY2H-STE. It seems to have a decent rep other than being smoky at startup?
