I plan to be in Winter Harbor for the lobster boat race on the 11th. Anyone else going? I'm land-bound looking for a good vantage point. Then on Sunday we're heading down to Rockport for the boat show if anyone is doing that.

Take the Schoodic Park entrance off of 186 and Frazer Point is a right, a mile or two past the Park entrance.

Well that was a bum deal

After going though 5 -7 foot seas with the occasional 8 footer tossed in just to make the kid squeal with glee side to for an hour straight, they canceled the race. Dungeon fog going and coming back, but in the harbor it was nice. Stretch from Bass Harbor Head Light to Schoodic Point was a bit bumpy, rest of it was awesome conditions, from Casco Passage West it was like a mirror.
121 miles with having to back track to go find the guy following me who couldn't keep pace.

Postponed until September 8th

Onto Pemaquid, looks like it might be a bit damp out there.
Fun times, fun times

Too bad. We headed over to Frazier pt and it didn't look too bad. The fog did roll in and out all day though. Hope Pemaquid is better. It looks pretty bad right now in Prospect Hbr.

Anybody get a pic of the Grady white crossing the course in front of Whistln Dixie during the last race? I thought for sure that was going to end badly.
