Its listed on Midcoast Yacht & Ship Brokerage - Downeast & Lobster Boats - Commercial Boats and Ships For Sale and i bet its real close to where that picture was taken at the owners dad's shop near Thomaston. Both the owner Chris and his dad are great guys. If you go look at it tell them the guy from Alaska that took a ride on the boat says hello.

nice find...but 4.4 gal @ 17 knots???

That boat has been for sale since before I bought my Seaworthy in February of 2008. I know the price was a lot higher than it is now but still, a nice package, can't understand why it has not sold.

And there is NFW that boat runs 17 kts and burns only 4.4 gph. My Volvo TAMD63 in my Seaworthy was rated at 370hp and running 17 kts I was cooking through a whole lot more than 4.4 gph. Try three times that, I always figured I was at about 12 gph.

Nice boat though, for about 59K maybe.

Always a good chuckle seeing the fuel burn/ cruise speed specs on boats for sale. Some are so far off it's ridiculous !

I'm not trying to derail any thread here but what gets me is how much it takes to push BHM's whether the 28 or 32 compared to other models. I saw and looked at the BHM28's and since fished on them too. Yes they are alot larger than my General Marine 26, but amazes me the difference in fuel and for the ride, I quite wonder. Although there is no substitute for displacement! On the GM26, I burnt an honest 4GPH at 16kts when everything was tweaked out and just a couple people fishing. Sure didn't have the deckspace but had a much nicer cabin, god you can stand up in it.

Had a chance to pull the trigger on a BHM 32 this past month and really thought long and hard and just isnt a nice hull to efficiently push through the water. Although the 32 is a great sea boat.

Granted I still ran mainly 4 person charters it was tight, 6 was interesting but again that isn't why I bought the boat. If it was just my family, would have to think really hard about what I gained.
