Don't believe everything you hear, she is almost 27,000 pounds dry weight. While above average speed wise for a DE, she never saw even close to 30Kts.

I'm honestly shocked by this. Our 37 Duffy has a C12 and weighs basically the same and still hits 29.5xx KTS 18 years later. I was under the impression the 36NB was more efficient than us.

What do you cruise at and what hp is your C-12?

I say your 37 might be able to handle a bigger wheel? 27,000 is heavy for a 36 nb. Why is it so heavy? Also weight distribution can make a big difference.
