mostly and inshore captain. Now that I have parted with my recreational boat....the quest for my own Charter Boat Begins!!! I am in the market for a downeaster...I want the gas efficiency, reliability, built like a bsh, mentality! Whats on the hot list? I feel like I am 90% sure this is the route I want to go. I have 6 months and my budget I would like to be 100k

28-Terry Jason? to small?
30-Calvin Beal South Shore?
32-H&H?
35-TJ,DUFFY,

What about BHM? To Slow? I need 20Kts cruise.
Alot of people say Terry is the best bang for your buck....Lets get the debate going!!! Whats my dream rig going to be for crew plus 6 passengers? 80% inshore 20% extended/offshore

My dream boat seems to be a 35 Duffy with fly bridge but I don't know how realistic it is....

I have a 1998 35 T Jason that I got as a kit boat from Terry. He gives you the most boat for the money & does a quality job and his hull designs are tough to beat. The boat will take much more than you'd want to. I fish the Montauk rips for stripers in all types of weather and some days the only boats out there are the Miss Mac (mine) and the Grand Slam, another T Jason 35 built by Terry that my younger brother Tom owns. Obviously I am biased but I can't tell you how many serious fisherman sing the praises of Terry's hulls once they fish with me on a "sporty Day". One Picture is worth a 1000 words. That's my brothers 35 Jason behind that big swell in the Montauk Rips!
