Quick google search explained that you can either hang it overboard, or put it on the inside of your hull, and SUPPOSEDLY it sends out electronic signals that mimic injured baitfish.

If it works, then why is he selling it.

I don't know if the Tuna Magnet works but my Mako Magnet works great. Last trip out we had 6 makos and no blue dogs using the thing. I can't be positive that the thing works but I feel better using it.

Those things have been around for years. The company also sold a version called the "MAKO MAGNET". I never heard much about their effectiveness.

it is a disguise for the cinderblock on wicked tuna.....

I have used the mako magnet without chum and it worked.
