The first boat I could call my own was an 8' plywood pram with mismatched oars which was built God knows how long before I acquired it; leaked like a seive. When it was stolen, and presumably used for kindling on Horseneck Beach, I got my first powered boat, this 17' skiff - I was king of the harbor! But, the first boat I ever grabbed the wheel of was Dad's Chris Craft below.

My dad had a Feathercraft aluminum boat and we waterskied and fished from it on a lake. Good times!

I bought an 18' Privateer center console with a 115hp Mercury for my first boat, $4K. Had a blast in that little boat. Taught my now-wife to fish on it... Lots of fun.
