your thoughts on a Repco 30

I have the opportunity to aquire a 30 Repco with as blown diesel for a few bucks. the hull is solid glass...but the wheelhouse is shot.

i would just weld an aluminum west coast style windshield with port side n windows

im not commercial but i am addicted to taking hunks of shit and coming out with a nice little set up...

i know its no duffy....but then again neither is my budget.....

if i decide to pull the trigger.....ill have to sell the Privateer of which i have really grown attached to!.....

thoughts? Repco versus Privateer 24 Center Console....

Gary,If your looking to flip this boat i would stick with the Privateer .....they have a narrow beam and resale will be tough

my new repco 30

Just bought this yesterday for a winter project. Hull believe it or not is in great shape minus the 18 years of moss/mildew on it. Not much else is any good.

Not familiar with the 30', but I have the 37'. Sounds like mine was in a similar state when I aquired it. In the midst of a total refit now.

Spoke to Ken this morning. My new top is coming out of the mold today and they are going to lay it on the boat.

The latest pics I have are from a few weeks ago when I cut the house and gunnels off. Haven't figured out how to attach pics on here yet.

Ken will be starting a new thread documenting the refit. There will be plenty of pics.
